February 18th, 2012 marked the second stop of the Vans Hi-Standard Series at Horseshoe resort in Barrie, Ontario. Despite a snowfall bringing tough visibility and worked landings, an talented crew of riders showed us that they can shred with style and work hard to stack dollar bills in their pockets! The stand out rider of the day was Coulton Conway who took MVP for his stylish tricks and motivation, the hardest crash, otherwise know as the Pain Reliever was issued to Kevin Konings and the Most improved rider of the day was awarded to Nigel Briggs. Congrats guys!

Following the jump session, it was time for the Pro-Tec rail best trick portion with 500,00$ up for grabs. Once again Coulton Conway displayed his well rounded skills in the 15 and under category flossing $200 bones and Mason Hambly took home $300.00 in the 16 and over category. A perfect down rail with a flat street style landing proved to be just the obstacle the kids were looking for. They showed us that Horseshoe locals can get serious and that resort is definitely nurturing a future generation of rippers coming on strong. You can bet once again that some stand out riders will be getting love from VANS in the future. Right Coulton?
